Materials:
Thin yarn or cotton thread with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Terms:
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
YO – yarn over
Notes:
This pattern is a little bet different that’s why I’ll put it in steps
Directions:
Step 1: In this step we’ll be making the first side of the bracelet.
R 1: Ch 4, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc next 2 sts. Don’t FO. (3 sc)
Step 2: In this step we’ll making the three braid strands.
R 1: Ch 21, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each st. Sl st next st from step 1.
R 2: Repeat R 1.
R 3: Repeat R 1 without the last sl st. Don’t FO. (pic 1)
Step 3: We’ll be working on top of the part we made in step 1.
R 1: Ch 1, *insert the hook in first st, YO and draw a loop, leave this loop on the hook* repeat 3 times. We’ll have 4 loops on the hook. YO and draw a loop through all 4 loops. Ch 2, sl st last st. FO and weave in ends. (pic 2 – 3)
Step 4: We’ll be braiding the 3 strands.
Braid the 3 strand as you normally would without making it too tight. Secure the end temporarily with a needle as you see in the pic. (pic 4)
Step 5: We’ll be making the other side of the bracelet.
R 1: Join the yarn with sl st in end tip of the first strand. Ch 1, sc same sp, sc next strand, sc next strand. (3 sc)
R 2: Turn, ch 1, sc in each of next 3 sts. (3 sc)
R 3: Repeat step 3. (pic 5 – 6)
Step 6: We’ll be making the sides strands.
Cut 2 strand of yarn about 8″ long (you can make it longer or shorter)
Join the strands to the sides as you see in the pic. (pic 7)
