Needle
Terms:
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
Notes:
We’ll be working the flower separately then add in the sides strands one at a time.
You can adjust the size very easily by cutting longer strands of thread for the sides strands and make more chains as you can see in the pattern, just make sure they’re the same length.
Directions:
The Flower:
Rnd 1: MR, 18 sc in the ring. Sl st first sc. (18 sc)
Rnd 2: *Ch 6, skip next 2 sts, sl st next st* repeat 6 times. (6 chains spaces)
Rnd 3: *8 sc next ch space* repeat 6 times. Sl st next st. FO. (6 petals, 48 sc total)
The sides strands:
– Cut about 60-70 cm (24-28″) long strand of yarn, same yarn you used for the flower. Fold it in half and hold the center part with your left hand.
– Place the flower right side up. Insert the hook through one of the petals as you see in the pic.
– Pull through the strand of yarn you’re holding in your left hand and make a slip stitch.
– Ch 10 (or more). FO and make sure to leave about 10-12 cm (4-5″) long tail to use it for tying the bracelet strands together when you want to wear it. (you’ll realize that the chains are thicker because you’re using two strands instead of the usual one).
– Repeat the previous steps for the other strand make sure to attach it to the opposite petal.
