Crochet Pouch

Mini and cute crochet pouch, for gifts. Very easy.

Materials:

Any kind of medium thickness yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Beads (optional)

Terms:

MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
dc – double crochet

Directions:

Rnd 1: MR, ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, *dc, ch 2* 5 times. Sl st 3rd ch we started with. (6 dc)
Rnd 2: Sl st next ch sp, ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, dc same ch sp, ch 2, *dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2 next ch sp* repeat 5 times. Sl st 3rd ch we started with. (12 dc)
Rnd 3: This row is optional if you want your pouch a little more bigger.
Sl st next ch sp, ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, dc same ch sp, ch 2, *dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2 next ch sp, dc, ch 2 next ch sp* repeat 5 times. Sl st 3rd ch we started with. (18 dc)
Rnd 4: Sl st next ch sp, ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, *dc next ch sp, ch 2* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st 3rd ch we started with.
Repeat round 4, 5 times for the small pouch and 7 times for the large one.
FO and weave in ends.

Finishing:

Cut about 12″ piece of yarn.
Using the needle thread it through the spaces of the round before the last one.
Decorate the ends of the laces using beads if you like.
