This pattern will be for crochet small basket. This basket can be resizable easily, and it serves a lot of purposes around the house or office. It’s easy and simple and goes with any decorations. For best results use cotton rope.

I used medium thickness cotton rope
I used 5 mm crochet hook
Needle
Terms:
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
BL – back loop only
FL – front loop only
Special terms:
Invisible slip stitch/Invisible join
Directions:
R 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring. (6 sc)
R 2: 2 sc in each st. (12 sc)
R 3: *2 sc, sc* repeat. (18 sc)
R 4: *2 sc, sc in each of next 2 sts* repeat. (24 sc)
R 5: *2 sc, sc in each of next 3 sts* repeat. (30 sc)
R 6: *2 sc, sc in each of next 4 sts* repeat. (36 sc)
Note: Make more rounds for bigger basket.
R 7: *Sc BL in each st. (36 sc)
R 8 – 13: Sc in each st. (36 sc)
Note: Make more round to higher sides.
R 14: Sc FL in each st.(36 sc)
R 15: Sl st both loops next st, *skip next st, 5 dc next st, skip next st, sl st next st* repeat until the end of the basket. For best results use the invisible slip stitch in last st. (9 groups of dc)
