In this pattern I’ll be sharing sunflower crochet pattern. The pattern contain tow pieces each one with different color. The disc part that will be the inner part we’ll work it using brown or dark brown yarn, the ray part will be in yellow. You surely can use any color you want for fun and unique results. This easy flower can be used as it’s won or to decorate anything you like, maybe a basket or headband.

MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
Notes:
We’ll be making the disc part and FO then add in the new color for the ray.
For the origenal color you’ll need brown/dark brown and yellow.
Directions:
The Disc: Use the brown yarn.
Rnd 1: MR, ch 2 (count as hdc), 11 hdc in the ring, sl st in 2nd ch from the beginning chs. (12 hdc)
Rnd 2: Ch 2 (count as hdc), hdc same st, 2 hdc each st around. Sl st in 2nd ch from the beginning chs of rnd 2. FO and weave in ends. (24 hdc)
The petals: Use the yellow yarn.
Rnd 1: Sl st to add the new color to any st of the disc. Ch 15, sl st in same st as first sl st. *Sl st next st, ch 15, sl st same st* repeat 23 times. Sl st next st. FO and weave in ends. (24 chain petals)
