Today’s pattern’ll be crochet flowers lantern and it isn’t entirely new, I shared the lantern last Ramadan in this page, and today I’ll be sharing how to decorate that lantern with flowers.

Materials:
Thin cotton yarn/thread with colors of your choice
Crochet hook that suites your yarn
Needle
Terms:
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
Notes:
– We’ll be making number of flowers same number as the lantern strands.
– You can double the the number of flowers if your lantern is tall.
– In the pics I made 8 flowers each two with diferint color.
– Never leave the lantern unattended or near flammable materials.
– Make sure the candle flame isn’t near the holder.
Directions:
Lantern:

Flowers:
MR, *ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st in the ring* repeat 4 times to make 4 petals. FO and weave all ends.
Finishing:
– Cut a piece of yarn using same color you used for the lantern.
– It’s easier to sew the flowers on the lantern if you put it on the jar.
– Use that piece of yarn to sew the flowers between each strands.
– Insert the needle though one flower then through next strand.
– Repeat last step until you cover all the spaces, then secure and weave in ends.
