Finally I’m sharing this unique pattern for a popular game that can be played by any age. It’s very easy, all you need is a 10 large plastic ring and you’ll end up with this 10 pieces of Xs and Os.

Materials
Medium to thin yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle
10 large plastic rings (I used the ones under large water bottle cap)
Terms
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
Notes
At the end of the pattern we’ll have 10 Os and 10 Xs.
Directions
Making the Os
Cut the plastic ring in one place as you see in the pic.
Start making the cover as shown below:
Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring. (6 sc)
Remaining rounds: sc in each st around. (6 sc)
After Making several rounds stop working and make sure the cover can fit the plastic ring, if it fits take it off and complete working until it cover all the plastic ring, if not try starting your first round with 7 sc instead.
Insert the plastic ring inside the cover you made and sew the two ends together with the needle.
Repeat same steps for the remaining 4 Os.
Making the Xs
Cut the plastic ring in half so you end up with two pieces as you see in the pic.
Start making the cover as shown below:
Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring. (6 sc)
Remaining rounds: sc in each st around. (6 sc)
After Making several rounds stop working and make sure the cover can fit the half plastic ring, if it fits take it off and complete working until it cover it all, if not try starting your first round with 7 sc instead.
Insert the plastic piece inside the cover you made and sew the end with the needle and FO.
Repeat same steps with the other half.
Place the two pieces facing the opposite sides and sew them together as you see in the pic.
Repeat same steps for the remaining Xs.
