Notes
When we work in the chains we’ll be working in each individual one not in the chains space as we normally would.
When we work in the chains it’s better to insert the hook through two loops not one.
Directions
The flower
Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring.
Rnd 2: [sc, ch 8, sl st 8th ch from the hook, sc same space as last sc] repeat 6 times.
Rnd 3: Sl st next st, [sl st in each of next 4 chs, picot st, sl st in each of next 4 chs, skip first sc, sl st next sc] repeat 6 times. FO and weave in ends.
The Leaf
Rnd 1: Ch 10, sc 2nd ch from the hook,
[ch 8, sl st 8th ch from the hook, sc in each of next 3 sts] repeat twice,
ch 8, sl st 8th ch from the hook, sc in each of next 2 sts, ch 8, sl st 8th ch from the hook, sc same st as last sc,
Do not turn, we’ll working the other side,

ch 8, sl st 8th ch from the hook, sc in each of next 2 sts,
