In previous pattern I shared how to crochet a round tapestry rug using t-shirt yarn, and in this pattern I’ll be teaching you how to crochet tapestry rows rug using a t-shirt yarn with a thin cotton one. It’s re-sizable and can be used anywhere in the house.

Materials:
We need two kind of yarn, a thick and thin one. T-shirt yarn or thick rope for the thick yarn and cotton yarn/thread for the thin yarn
Choose the hook that is one or two size begger than the one you usually use with the thin yarn
Needle
Terms:
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
Notes:
We’ll be working with the thin yarn around the thick one (t-shirt yarn) except for the beginning chains that we’ll be working with the thin yarn only.
Directions:
Row 1: Working around the t-shirt yarn, *sc, ch 1* repeat until you’ve the width you like for the rug, ch 1 at the end.
Row 2: Turn, *sc next ch sp, ch 1* repeat until the end of the row, sc in last st, ch 2.
Remaining rows: Repeat row 2 until you have the size you like. At the end of last row make one chain instead of two. FO and weave in ends.
