In this pattern we’ll be sharing crochet ice cream. It’s a 3D (amigurumi) pattern that can be used as toys, accessories or even home decor. This crochet pattern contains two main pieces, the cone and the ice cream ball. We’ll be sharing how to add second and third ball if you want. You can use any kind of yarn you like note that the thinner you use the smaller your ice cream will be. You’ll need one color for the cone and more for each ball of your choice.

Materials:
I used 3 mm thick yarn with 4 mm crochet hook for the large ice creams
I used 1 mm thick cotton yarn with 2 mm crochet hook for the small ones
You can use any kind of yarn you like or have with suitable crochet hook
Needle for sewing and weaving in ends
Stuffing

MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sc2tog – 2 single crochet together
FL – front loop only
Special terms:
I used the invisible slip stitch/invisible join at the end of each pattern (cones and balls). You can use the regular slip stitch join.
Directions:
The Cone:
R 1: MR, 3 sc in the ring. (3 sc)
R 2: 2 sc each stitch. (6 sc)
R 3: Sc each stitch. (6 sc)
R 4: *2 sc, sc* repeat 3 times. (9 sc)
R 5: Sc each stitch. (9 sc)
R 6: *2 sc, sc next 2 sts* repeat 3 times. (12 sc)
R 7: Sc each stitch. (12 sc)
R 8: *2 sc, sc next 3 sts* repeat 3 times. (15 sc)
R 9: Sc each stitch. (15 sc)
R 10: *2 sc, sc next 4 sts* repeat 3 times. (18 sc)
R 11: Sc each stitch. (18 sc)
R 12: *2 sc, sc next 5 sts* (21 sc)
R 13: Sc each stitch. (21 sc)
R 14: Sc FL each stitch, flip this round outside to make the cone edge. Sl st next st (or use the invisible join). FO leaving 6″ long tail for sewing. (21 sc)
First Ball:
R 1: MR, 6 sc in the ring. (6 sc)
R 2: 2 sc each sts. (12 sc)
R 3: *2 sc, sc* repeat 6 times. (18 sc)
R 4: *2 sc, sc next 2 sts* repeat 6 times. (24 sc)
R 5-7: Sc each stitch. (24 sc)
R 8: *Sc2tog, sc next 2 sts* repeat 6 times. (18 sc)
R 9: *Sc2tog, sc* repeat 6 times. Stuff. (12 sc)
R 10: Sc2tog 6 times. FO and weave in ends. (6 sc)
Second and Third Balls:
R 1-8: Repeat as First Ball. Sl st next st (or use the invisible join). FO leaving 6″ long tail for sewing. (18 sc)
Finishing:
– Stuff the cone then place the first ball on top. Use the cone tail to sew the ball and weave in ends.
– Stuff the second ball and place it on top of the first ball using the tail for sewing then weave in ends.
– Repeat for the third ball.
