Today’s pattern is an addition to my previous one which is the amigurumi clouds. Today you can add crochet lightning and rain to your clouds.

The Lightning
Notes
We’ll crochet two pieces of the pattern and sew them together with the needle.
The lightning pattern is irregular so I’ll put it in steps.
Do not turn in this pattern.
Pattern steps
1/ Slip knot, ch 6, sl st 2nd ch from the hook, sc, 2 hdc, dc, ch 3, sl st same st as last dc. Do not turn.
2/ Ch 6, sl st 2nd ch from the hook, sc, 2 hdc, dc, ch 3, sl st same st as last sl so of step (1) but it’ll be on the other side.
3/ FO leaving long tail for sewing.
Sewing
Use the needle to sew the two layers of the lightning together. Do not cut the tail and use it to sew the lightning to the under side of the cloud.
The rain drops
Notes
The rain drops will be small piece of appliuqs and because it’s small it can hold it’s shape. You can try making two layers of each drop but I found the result not good.
Make 3 or 4 rain drops leaving long tail for each to sew them to the cloud.
Pattern steps
MR, 6 sc, hdc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1, hdc, 3 sc, sl st first sc or use the invisible slip stitch.
FO leaving long tail to use for sewing the drops to the under side of the cloud.
