Very beautiful crochet columns headband that I used the front/back post double treble crochet to make it. It’s not that hard and can be made with any size.

Materials:
Any kind of medium to thick yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Terms:
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
FP dtc – front post double treble crochet
BP dtc – back post double treble crochet
Special terms:
Invisible slip stitch/Invisible join
Notes:
You can add to the headband width by increasing the beginning chains but they should be multiple of three.
You can adjust the circumference by adding more rows.
Directions:
Row 1: Number of chains that are multiple of three, dc 4th ch from the hook (first 3 chs count as dc), dc in each st until the end of the row.
Row 2: Ch 2 (count as dc), dc next st, *skip next 2 sts, FP dtc next st, go back and dc in each of the 2 sts we left* repeat until the last 2 sts of the row, dc in each of the last 2 sts.
Row 3: Ch 2 (count as dc), *skip next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, go back and BP dtc in the st we left* repeat until the last 3 sts of the row, dc in each of the last 3 sts.
Row 4: Ch 2 (count as dc), *skip next 2 sts, FP dtc next st, go back and dc in each of the 2 sts we left* repeat until the last 3 sts of the row, dc in each of the last 3 sts.
Row 5: Ch 2 (count as dc), dc next st, *skip next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, go back and BP dtc in the st we left* repeat until the last 2 sts of the row, dc in each of the last 2 sts.
Row 6: Ch 2 (count as dc), dc in each of next 2 sts, *skip next 2 sts, FP dtc next st, go back and dc in each of the 2 sts we left* repeat until the last st of the row, dc in last st.
Row 7: Ch 2 (count as dc), dc in each of next 2 sts, *skip next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, go back and BP dtc in the st we left* repeat until the last st of the row, dc in last st.
Remaining Rows: Repeat from R 2 to 7 until you have the size you like. Do not FO.
Finishing:
• When you’ve the size you like, ch 1 and sl st to close the headband. Do not FO.
• Try on the headband and make sure it fits.
• To make the edges more even, sl st or sc around the two edges.
• The sl st around the edges might make the headband less streachy or smaller. Make sure of the size before you FO.
• Invisible sl st at the end. FO.
