Today we’ve crochet hat using the front post puff stitch. The hat is free size and can be made to any size you like using your measurement. I used this stitch before in a puff stitch circle.

Notes
For measurements use any hat you like or measure as you go. The pattern is divided to 3 parts and will be worked continuously until the end.
Crochet Hat – Front Post Puff Stitch
Directions
Part one
It’s the top circle part of the hat. We’ll increase until we reach the size we like.
I used this pattern (link) but for the puff stitch YO twice only instead of 3 times.
The Diameter for the circle I made was about 7″ which is a medium size for adults.
Part two
This part is the sides of the hat. In this part we’ll stop increasing the stitches buy doing ch 2, FPpuff stitch in each st around and finishing each round with sl st.
This part should be a little bit shorter than your desired length for the hat because we’re doing the brim in part three. The hat I was making was about 7 and half inches long.
Part three
This part is the brim and I tried to use a different stitch to make it visible and a little bit tighter. Work this part until you reach your desired length.
First round of this part: Ch 1, *2 sc next ch sp between two puff sts, sc next ch sp between two puff sts* repeat until the end of the round.
Remaining rounds: Sc BL in each st around. Repeat this round until you reach the length you like. Slip stitch at the end of the pattern and FO.
