Today I’ll share with you this crochet waves headband that you can make it with any size you like. I used two techniques that I used in two different patterns to design this headband, the first one is the waves stitch and the second one is the little surface zigzag stitch.

Materials:
Any kind of yarn medium to thick that works for headbands with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Terms:
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
BL – back loop only
FL – front loop only
Special terms:
Invisible slip stitch/Invisible join
Notes:
This pattern can be adjusted by crocheting more beginning chains the size of your head.
The beginning chains should be multiple of 8 + 1
Directions:
Rnd 1: Number of chains multiple of 8 + 1. Sc 2nd ch from the hook, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc, *sc, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc* repeat until the end the end of the row. Sl st in first sc to close the round.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, *sl st BL next st, ch 1* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st both loops in first st in this round.
Rnd 3: All stitches will be worked in BL that we left in the previous round.
Sl st BL same st, ch 3 (does not count st), tr same loop, dc, hdc, sc in each of next 2 sts, hdc, dc, tr. *tr, dc, had, sc in each of next 2 sts, hdc, dc, tr* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st trough both loops in first tr in this round.
Rnd 4: Repeat round 2.
Rnd 5: All stitches will be worked in BL that we left in the previous round.
Sl st BL same st, ch 1, sc same st, hdc, dc, tr in each of next 2 sts, dc, hdc, sc, *sc, hdc, dc, tr in each of next 2 sts, dc, hdc, sc* repeat until the end of the row. Sl st in first sc in this round or make the invisible slip stitch. FO and weave in ends.
