Crochet Bracelet Using Puff Stitch – Easy

New pattern today that you’ll love! Crochet bracelet using puff stitch. It’s very easy and suitable for gifts for young girls.

Materials

Any kind of medium to thin yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle

Terms

st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
YO – yarn over
Puff stitch (YO 5 times for each one)

Notes

The face of the work that is towards to while crocheting is the WS of the finished bracelet.
Do not Turn until you finish the work and sides strands.
The bracelet will contain three parts, the middle piece and two side strands.
We’ll have two sizes, small and large.

Directions

Size large

Middle piece

Note: pic 1 is the side that is towards us while crocheting. Pic 2 is the other side and the one that will be the right side for wearing.

Rnd 1: Ch 13, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch until the before last, 3 sc last ch, do NOT turn, complete working on the other side of the beginning chs, sc in each st until before last, 2 sc last st, sl st in first sc. (26 sc)

Rnd 2: Sl st next st, *ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 3 sts* repeat 3 times,

*ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 2 sts* repeat 2 times,

*ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 3 sts* repeat 3 times,

ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 2 sts, ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st next st,

FO and weave in ends. Do not turn and complete working the side strands. (10 puff stitch)

Side strands

* Cut two pieces of yarn about 24 to 30″ long each.
* Fold the first one in half.
* Insert the hook in the side of middle piece of the bracelet between sc sts (see pic 1).
* Draw the strand loop (see pic 2).
* Crochet number of chains using the two strands until the end (see pic 3).
* Repeat same steps for the other strand (see pic 4).

Size small

Rnd 1: Ch 10, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch until the before last, 3 sc last ch, do NOT turn, complete working on the other side of the beginning chs, sc in each st until before last, 2 sc last st, sl st in first sc. (20 sc)

Rnd 2: Sl st next st, *ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 3 sts* repeat 2 times,

*ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 2 sts* repeat 2 times,

*ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 3 sts* repeat 2 times,

ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st in each of next 2 sts, ch 3, puff stitch same st, ch 3, sl st next st,

FO and weave in ends. Do not turn and complete working the side strands. (8 puff stitch)

Side strands

Repeat same steps as the large size using shorter strands.
