Today I’ll be sharing the second group of the Arabic alphabet (د – ذ – ر – ز – س – ش) and as I did for the first group you’ll find written instructions and a pdf file with diagram for each letter.

Bubble st – Bubble stitch (5 dc bubble stitch)
Crocheting around the edges
After finishing the squares you may want to crochet around the edges for more sleek look. Before you start edging make sure the bubbles are facing you. Ch 1 and crochet sc in each st and each row edge. Ch 1 after you finish each line of the square and before moving to the other line. Sl st at the end.
Note: Do not crochet around the edges if you’re going to join the squares together to make a blanket or a throw.

R 1: Ch 20, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each st.
R 2: Ch 1, sc in each st.
R 3 – 6: Repeat R 2
R 7: Ch 1, sc in each of next 6 sts, *bubble st, sc* repeat 3 times, sc in each of next 7 sts.
R 8: Repeat R 2
R 9: Ch 1, sc in each of next 12 sts, bubble st, sc in each of next 6 sts.
