Today we’ll finally have the third group of the Arabic letters which contain four letters (ص – ض – ط – ظ). They’re perfect to make small cushions as personal gifts also blankets and throws. They’re very easy with written instructions and a diagram to download.

Crocheting around the edges
After finishing the squares you may want to crochet around the edges for more sleek look. Before you start edging make sure the bubbles are facing you. Ch 1 and crochet sc in each st and each row edge. Ch 1 after you finish each line of the square and before moving to the other line. Sl st at the end.
Note: Do not crochet around the edges if you’re going to join the squares together to make a blanket or a throw.

R 1: Ch 20, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each st.
R 2: Ch 1, sc in each st.
R 3 – 5: Repeat R 2
R 6: Ch 1, sc in each of next 5 sts, *bubble st, sc* repeat twice, sc in each of next 10 sts.
R 7: Repeat R 2
R 8: Ch 1, sc in each of next 3 sts, bubble st, sc in each of next 5 sts, bubble st, sc in each of next 9 sts.
R 9: Repeat R 2
R 10: Ch 1, sc in each of next 3 sts, bubble st, sc in each of next 5 sts, *bubble st, sc* repeat 3 times, sc in each of next 4 sts.
R 11: Repeat R 2
