Simple and easy crochet cluster stitch doily that can be made into any size and yarn you like depending on your project. At the end of the pattern you’ll find three ways of edging to decorate your doily.

Directions
Rnd 1: MR, ch 2, 2 dc C, ch 2, * 2 dc C, ch 2* 5 times, sl st in first C. (6 C)
Rnd 2: Sl st next ch sp, [ch 2, 2 dc C, ch 2, 3 dc C, ch 2] all in same ch sp,
[3 dc C, ch 2] twice in each of next ch sps until the end, sl st in fist C. (12 C)
Rnd 3: Sl st next ch sp, [ch 2, 2 dc C, ch 2, 3 dc C, ch 2] all in same ch sp, 3 dc C next ch sp, ch 2,
*[3 dc C, ch 2] twice next ch sp, 3 dc C next ch sp, ch 2* repeat until the end, sl st in first C. (18 C)
Rnd 4: Sl st next ch sp, [ch 2, 2 dc C, ch 2, 3 dc C, ch 2] all in same ch sp, [3 dc C, ch 2] in each of next 2 ch sp,
*[3 dc C, ch 2] twice next ch sp, [3 dc C, ch 2] in each of next 2 ch sp* repeat until the end, sl st in first C. (24 C)
Rnd 5: Sl st next ch sp, [ch 2, 2 dc C, ch 2, 3 dc C, ch 2] all in same ch sp, [3 dc C, ch 2] in each of next 3 ch sp,
*[3 dc C, ch 2] twice next ch sp, [3 dc C, ch 2] in each of next 3 ch sp* repeat until the end, sl st in first C. (30 C)
Rnd 6: Sl st next ch sp, [ch 2, 2 dc C, ch 2, 3 dc C, ch 2] all in same ch sp, [3 dc C, ch 2] in each of next 4 ch sp,
*[3 dc C, ch 2] twice next ch sp, [3 dc C, ch 2] in each of next 4 ch sp* repeat until the end, sl st in first C. (36 C)
Remaining rounds: Repeat same steps increasing 6 clusters in each round.
Edging
You can use any decorative stitch in last round if you like. For example, shell stitch or picot stitch or just a simple single crochet.
1. Single crochet edging: 3 sc in each ch sp until the end, sl st in first sc to close the work.
2. Shell stitch edging: *5 dc next ch sp, sl st next ch sp* repeat until the end.
3. Picot edging: *sl st next ch sp, picot, sl st next cluster* repeat until the end.
