Today’s pattern is a large doily or throw or whatever you want to use it as, that I used a previous pattern to make it. As you can see in the pics I needed to add a little piece between each four pieces to cover the space and the result is really nice.

Materials
Thin to medium yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Terms
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
Cluster st – 2 tr cluster stitch
P – Picot stitch ( ch 3, sl st 3rd ch)
Special terms
Invisible slip stitch/Invisible join at the end of each small doily. (optional)
Notes
You can make the doily with as many small doilies as you like.
Each 4 doilies will connect with each other with a small 4 arms star in the middle.
We’ll be joining the picots together as we go.

Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc, sl st first sc. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: *[sc, p, sc] next st, skip next st* repeat 4 times. FO.

Joining
Whenever you need to join replace the picot stitch with the following instructions (see pics to locate where to join):
Ch 1, sl st in the picot st we want to join to, ch 1, sl st in first ch. Then complete same steps as normal.
Use this method to join the round petals doily and the 4 arms star.
