Very easy crochet small doily with petals on the edges. It’s preferable to use medium to thick yarn with this pattern to end up with a good size for a coaster. And I’m going to use this pattern to make a large doily as soon as I get my yarn.

Directions
Rnd 1: MR, ch 2 (not st), 12 dc in the ring, sl st first dc. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, tr same st, ch 2, *cluster st next st, ch 2* repeat until the end, sl st first tr. (12 cluster)
Rnd 3: 5 sc in each ch sp around, sl st first sc. (60 sc)
Rnd 4: *Skip next st, [hdc, 2 dc, picot, 2 dc, hdc] all in next st, skip next 2 sts, sl lst next st* repeat 12 times. (12 petals)
FO and weave in all ends.
