MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
P st – Puff stitch (we’ll YO 5 times for each one)
Directions
Crochet your project first. For a simple crochet coaster use the following pattern.
R 1: MR, ch 2 (does not count as st), 12 dc, sl st first dc. (12 dc)
R 2: Ch 2 (does not count as st), 2 dc in each st around, sl st first dc. (24 dc)
R 3: Ch 2 (does not count as st), *2 dc, dc* repeat until the end of the round, sl st first dc. (36 dc)
R 4: Ch 2 (does not count as st), *2 dc, dc in each of next 2 sts* repeat until the end of the round, sl st first dc. (48 dc)
Do not FO and complete with edging instructions.
Edging
*Ch 3, P st, skip next 2 sts, sl st next* repeat until the end of the round, FO and weave in ends.
