In addition to my previous crochet fruits coasters, this week we’ve crochet strawberry coaster. Make this strawberry and add it to your collection.

Thick yarn with suitable crochet hook

MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
Special terms:
Invisible slip stitch/Invisible join (optional)
Directions:
Strawberry
Rnd 1: MR, ch 3 (count as dc), 11 dc in the ring, sl st 3rd ch. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 3 (count as dc), dc same st, 2 dc in each st until the end, sl st 3rd ch. (24 dc)
Rnd 3: Ch 3 (count as dc), dc same st, dc, *2 dc, dc* repeat until the end of the round, sl st 3rd ch. (36 dc)
Rnd 4: Sl st in each of next 5 sts, sc, 2 sc, hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, dc, 2 dc, 2 dc, dc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, hdc, 2 sc, sc, sl st in each of next 8 sts, ch 1, skip next st, hdc, dc, 2 tr, 2 tr, dc, hdc, ch 1, skip next st, sl st in each of next 2 sts. FO and weave in ends.
Leaf
Rnd 1: MR, 8 sc in the ring, sl st in first sc. (8 sc)
Rnd 2: *Ch 6, sc 2nd ch from the hook, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc, sl st next st* repeat 5 times, sl st in each of next 3 sts. FO leaving long tail for sewing.
Joining: Us the needle and the long tail from the leaf to join it to the top of the strawberry as you see in the pics. Wave in all ends.
