Today we have crochet lemon coaster that is very easy to make. It’s not the first fruit coaster that I share and not last I hope.

Materials:
Thick yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Terms:
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
Special terms:
Invisible slip stitch/Invisible join (optional).
Directions
Lemon
Rnd 1: MR, ch 3 (count as dc), 11 dc in the ring, sl st 3rd ch. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 3 (count as dc), dc same st, 2 dc in each st until the end, sl st 3rd ch. (24 dc)
Rnd 3: Ch 3 (count as dc), dc same st, dc, *2 dc, dc* repeat until the end of the round, sl st 3rd ch. (36 dc)
Rnd 4: Sl st in each of next 5 sts, sc, 2 sc, [hdc, dc] next st, 2 tr, [dc, hdc] next st, 2 sc, sc,
sl st in each of next 11 sts, sc, 2 sc, [hdc, dc] next st, 2 tr, [dc, hdc] next st, 2 sc, sc, sl st in each of next 6 sts. FO and weave in ends.
The button
MR, sc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1, sc, sc, sl st in first sc (or invisible sl st), FO leaving long tail for sewing.
Joining
Sew the button vertically on the pointed part of the lemon. You’re done.
