Joining the squares
Notes
Joining the squares will be with the right side up.
To join we’ll be using sl st by inserting the hook in the outer loops. Click here to see the pic.
We’ll be using one sl st to join each opposite two stitches.
The corner chains will be count and join as stitches.
We’ll add in one chain between each two squares so the work lay flat.
Joining steps
1- The opening
Start crocheting around the upper opening.
We’ll use 4 squares and make the opening by using sl st in each st around. See pic.
I used a deferent color to make it clear.
2- Joining the remaining squares
Join the squares using the steps I explained above.
FO and weave in all ends.
3- The lower edge
Crochet the lower edge with sl sts around.
The corner chains count as stitches.
Add in chains between each two squares.
