Crochet round doily with drops stitch. I managed to make this stitch by working the puff stitches in the front post. And because they’re separate they resemble the rain drops. This doily can be made in any size and perfect with thin yarn or thread.

Notes
You can make this circle any size you like.
We’ll be working rounds of double crochet and rounds of FP puff stitches alternately.
We’ll be increasing 8 times every other round (round 3, 5, 7, 9… etc)
The increasing stitches will be double crochet not puff stitches.
The FP puff stitch will be worked around the double crochet stitches.
Crochet Round Doily Drops Stitch – Any Size
Directions
Rnd 1: MR, ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, *dc, ch 2* repeat 7 times, sl st 3rd ch. (8 dc)
Rnd 2: FP puff st, sl st next ch sp, *FP puff st, sl st next ch sp* repeat until the end of the round. (8 Puff st)
Rnd 3: Ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, dc same sp, ch 2
*dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2 all in next ch sp* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st 3rd ch. (16 dc)
Rnd 4: Repeat round 2. (16 Puff st)
Rnd 5: Ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, dc same sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2,
*[dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2] all in next ch sp, dc next ch sp, ch 2* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st 3rd ch. (24 dc)
Rnd 6: Repeat round 2. (24 Puff st)
Rnd 7: Ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, dc same sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2,
*[dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2] all in next ch sp, dc next ch sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st 3rd ch. (32 dc)
Rnd 8: Repeat round 2. (32 Puff st)
Rnd 9: Ch 3 (count as dc), ch 2, dc same sp, ch 2, *dc next ch sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2,
*[dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2] all in next ch sp, dc next ch sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2, dc next ch sp, ch 2* repeat until the end of the round. Sl st 3rd ch. (40 dc)
Rnd 10: Repeat round 2. (40 Puff st)
Complete next step for the remaining rounds.
Remaining rounds: Repeat same steps and increase in the odd number rounds (increase 8 dc each time). And work the puff stitch rounds as usual without increasing.
