Crochet Round Flowers Doily
Directions
First circle
It’s the first circle you make for your doily and you make it without joining with any circle because it’s the first one. (pic 1)
Make the first circle using the Round Flower Pattern (link) except for the last round witch you replace with the following:
Rnd 5: Sl st next ch sp, ch 1, 6 sc same ch sp, 6 sc in each ch sp until the end of the round, sl st at the end. FO and weave in all ends.
Remaining circles
Crochet the remaining circles using same steps as the first one except the last round (fifth) because we’ll be joining the circles together in this round.
Each circle will be joined with the other circle in two places. Follow next steps.
Work the fifth round as you’d normally do until you need to join with the other circle, replace the [6 sc] with:
3 sc next ch sp, ch 1, sl st in [forth st of the other side of the circle you want to join to], ch 1, 3 sc same ch sp. (pic 2, 3)
Repeat same steps again for your next joining place. Complete your circle normally until you reach another joining place.
Edging
After finishing your doily and weaving all ends, you can now work on crocheting the edges with picot stitch.
Join the yarn in any st, sl st in each st, picot st in the middle of each arc of the doily. (pic 7)
Sl st at the end. FO and weave in all ends. (pic 8)
