This is surprisingly my first pattern for crochet simple flower bookmarks, it’s very easy for beginners and I used the puff stitch for the flower.

Any kind of medium to thin yarn with suitable crochet hook
Needle
Terms
MR – Magic ring
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
hdc – half double crochet
Puff st – Puff stitch (YO 5 times)
YO – yarn over
Crochet Simple Flower Bookmarks
Directions
Rnd 1: MR, ch 2 (count as hdc), ch 2, *hdc, ch 2* repeat 4 times, sl st in 2nd ch we started with. (5 hdc, 5 ch sps)
Rnd 2: *Sl st next ch sp, ch 2, puff st, ch 2, sl st same sp* repeat 5 times. (5 petals)
The tail: Sl st next st, number of chains as long as you like, ch 3, puff st 3rd ch, ch 1, FO and weave in all ends.
