Notes
The squares and rectangles are kind of forgiving when it comes to sizing because they stretch a little bit. Also I noticed that it stretches more when I did embroidery on them, so keep that in mind and make some experiment before deciding on the size you like.
Directions
Squares
Crochet 4 squares using the pattern in this page. Make one square can cover the section shown in the pic below. The squares I made are 8 rounds each. Decorate you squares with embroidery (surface crochet) using any design you like.
Rectangles
Crochet 2 rectangles using the pattern in this page. Make one square can cover the section shown in the pic above. The rectangles I made start with ch 10 and are 4 rounds each. Decorate you rectangles with embroidery (surface crochet) using any design you like.
Joining
I used slip stitch to join using the outer loops of each side (FL of the side near you & BL of the other side)
Start by joining two squares with one rectangle as you see in the pic. Repeat same steps for the other two squares and rectangle.
Now join the squares together making sure to leave an opening in the middle.
FO and weave in all ends. Your box is ready!
